Refunds and cancellations

A hold fee, a ticket cancellation, and a payment that could not create a booking are handled differently.

Updated 20 September 2026

The ₹49 hold fee

Each new hold costs ₹49 (INR), separately from the ticket fare. A successfully provided hold is non-refundable if you voluntarily release it. Moving to another offer creates a new hold and a new ₹49 fee; the earlier fee is not transferred or credited toward the fare.

Paid but no hold or booking

If a verified payment arrives after an offer expires or the requested operation can no longer be completed, the system records it for refund recovery. An extra successful payment for an already fulfilled operation is also recorded for recovery; it does not create a second booking.

Recovery is processed through the payment provider to the original payment method. A pending refund is not a completed refund. Check your payment status in My trips. If it says Refund needs support, or your bank debit has no matching booking or refund status, contact us with the payment reference.

Cancelling or changing a ticket

Email our support team with your booking reference, travel date and requested cancellation or change as soon as possible. The issuing travel agent must confirm the request, applicable fare rules, any airline or agent charges, and the refundable amount. Refund eligibility depends on those rules and applicable law.

The current POC does not offer automatic ticket cancellation or automatic refunds for a missed ticket-delivery deadline. Closing a checkout, releasing a hold, or archiving a booking does not cancel a ticket. If an agent has not delivered your ticket within the displayed 24-hour window, contact support for investigation and resolution.

Timing and status

Refund completion depends on provider processing, the original payment method and your bank. We cannot promise a single credit date for all payments. We will investigate the reference and communicate the status available from the agent or payment provider. Do not send another payment solely because a confirmation is delayed; check the existing payment first.

For failed or cancelled payment attempts with no successful charge, there is no captured payment for GetMyDeal to refund. If your bank shows a debit, share the reference with support so it can be reconciled. Sandbox transactions simulate these outcomes and do not move real money.
